Biography
Highlights of Michael's career as a professional magician include performing at a private Microsoft party, in Seattle, with Bill Gates in attendance.
 Michael has also shared his magic, up close & personal, with the band and crew of U2 in Vancouver.
With the earnings from these shows he made regular visits to the local magic shop and bought more sophisticated magic tricks. Michael started performing more shows for different types of audiences, including company Christmas parties, picnics, scout meetings, schools, senior homes, and other venues.
In total, Michael has performed hundreds upon hundreds of magic shows for audiences of all ages - from 4 to 94. He can perform an energetic magic act for large audiences, or present close-up magic, moving elegantly throughout a crowded room. As the years went by, Michael's act garnered an international magic award; customized corporate entertainment became his mainstay. Michael was booked exclusively through Lighten Up Productions, a Vancouver based entertainment agency. He performed for many fortune 500 companies in Vancouver and Whistler. Finally, over a decade ago, Michael began a career as a motivational speaker, using his magic to highlight important concepts. He spent several years on the US college circuit before recent semi-retirement in the Okanagan; Michael still performs part-time at local private and public functions. It all started with a magic set for Christmas when he was 9 years old. Immediately magic became a passion. Michael had a childhood dream of becoming a magician when he grew up. By age 13 he was performing shows at birthday parties and community centers.
At age 18, Michael landed an excellent job working for an advertising agency. His responsibilities were to perform as a corporate clown for an international fast-food chain, performing magic shows in-store, signing autographs, doing photo sessions, appearing in parades and telethons for his region: British Columbia, Canada.
